I am trying to make reservation at The Golden Rose Guesthouse but every time I go to www.thegoldenrose.de it sends me to a place to buy and sell domain names and says this one is for sale. Anyone have any ideas about how to contact them via email?

If that Hotel does not work out I highly recommend Hotel Klosterstueble. The rooms are beautiful--ours had wood floors, oriental rugs, antiques and lovely bathroom. Staff is very accomodating, parking available, and the breakfast was very good.

I'm not sure that's the correct website either. That's for a hotel two hours north of Rothenburg.
We stayed at Zur Goldenen Rose in Rothenburg in May and loved it. And now I can't find their website either!! I'll search my e-mail and see if I can find their contact info.

Their website appears to be "down", and I suspect any queries bounce to the domain name link by default.
A couple of suggestions to consider:
You could try phoning them at the number listed in Rick's book.
You could wait a few weeks, as it's possible they may be on holidays or doing maintenance on the Hotel or the Website in January?
You could send an E-mail to Rick's staff to find out if they are aware of any changes affecting the Goldenen Rose (there was nothing listed on the Guidebook Updates page?).
I also stayed at the Goldenen Rose on my last visit and had a great time in Rothenburg.
