Riquewihr in winter?

Just had an email from a friend asking if I might be interested in going to the Christmas Markets (which I have been thinking about) and she sent me a link to this town. I have not seen many recommendations for it, so anyone been there? It looked great on the site, but I would like to hear from personal experience. Thanks. Any other suggestions for Markets that would be within a reasonable distance? I will probably have a car, and don't mind driving, just not all day.

We weren't there in December, but we were there last June; it was beautiful. Tasting wines while sitting outside might be challenging temperature-wise but lots of shops and a wonderful market-spices were amazing.

@Tom... from Riquewihr I guess.
But, I am open to other suggestions as I expect I have to land somewhere.

will show you where all the Christmas markets are by country. Take note of the end date of the markets by country and area, most French markets stay open through the first week of January or so, where as many German ones finish up at Christmas. Riquewihr is in my top 3 of all the Alsace wine route towns. Very picturesque, great wine.

@Kathy...thanks, what are the other top two. I have looked at the websites but would prefer a personal recommendation on particular markets someone has been to.
