Janet: At the bottom of this webpage click Contact Us and that gets you directly to Rick's staff, if anyone would know they would.

Finding a Rick Steves book on Spain in Spain is going to be difficult. But you can try Casa del Libro on Calle Velasquez, right where the name of the street switches from Tetuan, just north of Plaza Nueve. They have English language books, including travel books, up on the second floor. Libreria Beta also has some English tourist books, and can be found on Avenida de la Constitución, about 2 blocks south of the Cathedral on the same side of the street. For Sevilla itself, many of the tourist shops will sell tourist guides...but, of course, only for Sevilla or, at best, Andalucia.

I'll be on a Rick Steves tour passing thru Sevilla next month. Our hotel will be Hotel Alcantara, Ximenez de Enciso 28, in Sevilla. You could check with them to see if some RS tour member left a Spain book there that you could have. Tel: 011 34 954 500 595. I often leave my books behind rather than carry them back home. I looked in my Spain 2008 book but no bookstores are mentioned.

For what it's worth, the Casa del Libro website says that they have the 2004 edition of Rick Steves' Spain and Portugal in stock.

I certainly don't know of a better English bookstore in Seville than CdL, but I haven't lived there since the FNAC opened, so you might try there as well.

Check the specific articles under "best destinations" and "spain" on this web - you will find a bunch of stuff (probably from the guide books) on accommodations and a little history and maybe a walking tour thats from your book... then print it out at the hotel (since you seem to have web access now) - Rick has a LOT of his stuff right here - just search SEVILLE in the top too.

Thanks to everyone for their help. I will be checking the Casa del Libro bookstore this morning on my way out of Seville. I am still going to Granada, Ronda, Barcelona, etc. so it´s worth it to me to try to find the book. Thanks again!
