Rick Steves Mobile Version

I have looked for a Mobile version of this board with no luck. Am I missing something? It would be nice to have the lines wrap properly when viewing a thread on a phone. The other day I was on the board with and clicked on a message. A mobile version came up. It wrapped correctly and was much easier to view. I was pleased. It disappeared as suddenly as it appeared. I thought I was seeing ghosts. Anyone know if a mobile version exists? Thanks, Gary

I just discovered something interesting, but I'm not sure if this is what you're talking about. First I will apologize for being an idiot regarding electronic devices. On my iPad, on the top left side are the symbols for going forward and back, to look at what I've bookmarked, the cloud and then there's a box with an arrow. When I click on that box it allows me to do things like bookmark, print, etc. A few minutes ago I found when I clicked on it that there was a photo of Rick. I clicked on it and it asked if I want to save it to my homepage. I did that, and now there it is, amongst my other apps. I'm going to try it on my iPhone now. Edit - I just tried it on my phone. In the browser I put in Rick Steves. When I clicked on the box I described above it gave me the option to add the site to my home screen. Sweet!! My husband tried it on his android devices but no luck. He's always telling me his androids are better than my Apples. Ha, I think not!!

Gary, I'm not sure if they have a mobile version of this website? I've never really noticed any problems viewing the regular site, as it appears to work fine on my iPhone. At times the lettering is a bit "small" and difficult to read, but by "double tapping" or "pinch & expand", I can enlarge the text and then just scroll back and forth. When clicking on posts, the text seems to wrap fine and the entire page fits the screen dimensions. You might send a message to the Webmaster using the "Contact Us" link at the bottom, as I'm sure he will be able to provide whatever information you need. Cheers!

Thanks to you both. Fodor's has a mobile version of their travel board. It wraps the length of the lines so that the messages are easily readable without scrolling back and forth. This is especially helpful if you are posting a reply. You might go to Fodor's board and compare the screen version on your computer to the phone version. No one has identified a mobile version of Rick's. I guess that there is not one.

Fodor's also has a mobile language site which we've downloaded into both our Kindle Fires to take with us when we hit a snag speaking Italian this fall. Great phrases pronounced clearly for greetings, shopping, dining, numbers, etc. I plan to practice using my earphones on the long trip over.
