Shakespear and Company carries some of the RS books. Take the Petit Pont (one bridge downstream from the pedestrian bridge in front of Notre Dame) to the Left Bank, cross the big road and hang your first left. It's on the right in the first block. There's nothing but a skinny park in front of it so you'll still be able to see the river and the cathedral. It might have a yellow sign.

WH Smith's usually has a good ion of travel books. Don't know whether they'll have the RS Paris book in stock, but I've had good success with other RS books there. They're across the street (Rue de Rivoli) from the Place de la Concorde metro stop.

You can also contact the RS staff and ask them for locations. I did this a couple of years ago when I went to Italy (sadly the RS books aren't available here either).

If you have a laptop or an IPad 2 with you, you can purchase and download it from I Tunes. I used Rick's Spain book on my IPad. Works great - you can even enlarge the maps to actually make them readable...

I saw them last year at: The Red Wheelbarrow Book Store 22 Rue St Paul 75004 Paris, France
01 48 04 75 08 Rick recommends this book store along with Shakespear and Co.
