Rhine valley

I will be spending 2 days in Rhine valley this summer. I saw a few pictures of the vallye on the web. They seem to be taking from the same location. Does anyone know where the picture was taken, and which town is in the pictures?

I may be wrong but I think it's from the vinyards adjacent to Bacharach.

The sand bar looks similar to the one in my pictures from Burg Stahleck (above Bacharach).

There is a church ruin in the area and I don't see it in the picture, so I'm not completely sure.

Agreed, that's Bacharach.
