We are going to Strasbourg and would like to take a day trip on the Rhine. We haven't been able to find any information about such a trip. Is such a trip possible in Strasbourg?

Sue, the rhine is very wide in the Strasbourg area and it doesn't flow thru a valley, it's like in the midst of a plain. Looks like the Mississippi somewhere in Kansas or so. Not really worth a trip at all. The beautiful party of the rhine are near Stein am Rhine which right after the river leaves the lake of Constance or than further down in the Rhine valley from Bingen to Koblenz etc. In Strasbourg to a boat ride thru old town which is almost like in Paris. Another day trip option is Black Forrest on the German side, only 30mins from Strasbourg.
