We're trying to get from St. Goar to Remagen and back in a day, with a visit to the "Bridge at Remagen" museum. I can't locate a train schedule; any one have any information? Thanks!

Both St. Goar and Remagen are in the Verkehrsverbund-Rhein-Mosel (VRM, www.vrm-info.de). Their website seems to be having problems tonight, but usually you can get schedules and fares on the website. For 2-5 people they have a Minigruppenkarte for a max of €20 that allows all of you unlimited travel on regional trains and buses all day long (after 9 AM workdays). That would get you from St. Goar to Remagen and back.
Finally got through. A one way ticket for one adult would be €11,20. For €20 you can get the entire network Minigruppenkarte for unlimited travel for up to five people. I know what I would use.
