Rhine river cruise in November?

The K-D line might run special events. They do in December around Christmas, but the regularly scheduled cruises - no. The summer schedule ends the beginning of October; the fall schedule ends the end of October. The www.k-d.com and www.k-d.com/images-allg/KD_Winter_2010.pdf.

Agree with Lee. The only river cruises we have found in that time frame were the Christmas Market cruises generally the two or three weeks prior to Christmas cause most market close the day before Christmas.

If it's available, it's probably going to be a bit on the nippy side. I just drove the gorge this morning after scrapping ice off of the car. The folks coming off the boats and busses where bundled to hell and shivering like crazy. The wind also blows like stink down the river - - take a guess on the wind-chill factor and subtract a few degrees to be safe.
