We are staying in the castle in Oberwesel and want to do the 1 hour Rhine cruise from Bacharach to St. Goar. We are trying to figure out where to park the car and how to get back and forth. Anyone know the easiest way to do this? I am guessing we could park in Oberwesel and then take the trains but not sure. Any ideas since Oberwesel is in the middle?

Simple as 1-2-3. 1.) Take the train to Bacharach - 2.50 Euros each 2.) Get on the boat, off at St. Goar.
3.) You might want to ride up to Braubach (2 hrs.) to see more castles, take a walk around the attractive town, and visit Marksburg, the only never-destroyed castle in the area, with an excellent tour. http://www.marksburg.de Boppard, 1.5 hours from Bacharach, is also a very nice town.
