need a good restaurant in berlin with good german sausages and good beer. Also need directions to restaurant from the train station.

You're looking for "Ständige Vertretung" or StäV in short (www.staev.de), which is THE beer hall in Berlin. It's right by the S-Bahn station "Friedrichstr." (take the pedestrian bridge across the Spree river underneath the railroad tracks and you're there). It's one S-Bahn stop from the Central Train Station (Hauptbahnhof).
