In reading websites, it seems food is expensive in the Alps, but I cannot find exactly how much I should plan on for basic meals in Lauterbrunnen, Murren, Gimmelwald areas. Also I understand there is a grocery store in Murren?

There is a co-op store in both Muerren and Wengen. CLICK HERE to see a menu, with prices, for the restaurant in the Hotel Silberhorn. This restaurant is probably the nicest in the Lauterbrunnen Valley. Note that Swiss Franc is about equal to the dollar (1:1) at this time.
