We are going to Paris in April, we will be staying at the Hôtel Bonaparte. I was just wandering if anyone had any suggestions on a nice restaurant in the area for a nice meal. We will be celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary.
This depends on your budget, approximately how much per person do you want to spend, or not exceed?
We really haven't set a price limit, we would like something intimate and romantic. While we don't want to spend $100 per person, we are willing to pay $60 or so per person.
Have a look at the website for La Fermette Marbeuf. It is beautiful and the food is excellent. We had a 3 course meal for 32 euro each, with a little "ameuse geule" at no charge. Wine, of course, is extra. You can see the menu on the website. It is not far from the Champs Elysées and a good place for a special dinner.
I know where I eat, but not the names, however, the best guide is to go to viamichelin.com and you will find every price range and cuisine. My rule when traveling is a full restaurant is where you want to eat(or one recommended in DK's top ten Paris or RS' guides.
Here are 4 large discussion threads, posted here in the past, advising on how to pick a good restaurant in Paris:

I wholeheartedly recommend Le 7ième Sens at 7 rue Cadet, 75009. We make a point to eat here each time we are in Paris. The restaurant is small and intimate. The last time we were there the owner greeted us, waited on us and was also the chef. We have never had a bad meal here. I highly recommend it. Reservations recommended.

Well, I guess Marcia really likes that place.
Thank you all for your replies, I am really enjoying looking at the websites.
