I will be in Monaco for my birthday. I would like to go somewhere nice (I'm willing to pay for quality food), am open to type of cuisine and sit outside. I've looked at Monaco's website but they just have restaurant listings, not really any information.
Does anyone have any suggestions or can recommend websites that would give me some ideas?

I am not sure what you consider "a bit more" but for me a truly fine experience in Monaco I would expect about $200 a person with wine, same as it is in most major cities. The trick will be wine, most of these places aren't going to carry budget bottles, or wine by the glass. Saying that two experiences that I feel are worth it:

Keep in mind though this is going to be a bout the "experience": the linen, silverware, service, views, and the food but not just the food. I have been to each, with clients and each time I was treated with impeccable service (before they knew I was a chef) even though it is fairly obvious I was out of my class.
Have you been to Monaco before. JMO that it is bit on the sterile side, not really my style. Equally luxurious and beautiful is the Antibes/Cap d'Antibes, and Juan les Pins area. Equally good restaurants there like Eden Roc etc...
