My wife and I will be traveling to Salzburg in Feb and very interested in staying in a nice spa resort in the area. Any good suggestions?

The Watzmann Spa is in nearby Berchtesgaden. You can take the RVO bus, called the Watzmann Express, from the Hauptbahnhof in Salzburg to Berchtesgaden. Round trip on the bus with a Tagesticket is €9,-.
BTW, I hope you realize that most German "Thermen" are coed and "Textilefrei". Can't be too prudish or modest.
