We are planning a trip to France in August. We plan to rent a car in Marseilles and go through Provence, Burgundy, Loire valley. We'd like to stay in the smaller towns. Should we get hotel or BB reservations before we leave the USA or could we have a good chance of finding accomodations as we go?
