I am trying to find a store that will buy - not used clothes, but I bought them and can't return them- clothes in Paris. I've looked across the internet and can't find a particular address or name. btw) watch out for a personal shopper named Heather Price. Seemed legit with references but didn't have the fashion ability she claims to have.
Tricia - I checked out Heather's website - just wondering what happened. Did you do a shopping trip with her and not like what she selected? Can you try a re-sale shop in the US? Maybe in an upscale area in Florida?
Tricia, google "fripperies, paris" for names & locations of used clothes shops in Paris.
Thank you for all of the suggestions. I have given it my best try. I have learned (hard lesson) that there are just consignment shops here. Nobody is going to buy any clothes outright. The lady finally called me back and told me she would give me a refund and then never showed up at the appointment. Very disappointing. I would really not recommend her !!!!! And don't buy anything in Paris unless you are 100% you love it and it fits. There are no or little returns.
In the small shops in France where all the sales people circle you telling you how great you look as you are trying to make up your mind, I found a way to wiggle out. I've always used "I need to see what my husband thinks" even in the 70s when I was a single student. Sometimes you can feel very pressured. Good luck Tricia.
