RER or other train to Auver sur Oise?

We're considering a day trip from Paris to this town. How do we get there?

As a point of reference: the administrative region of France which includes Paris and its surroundings is "Ile" not "le" -de-France.

If you're wondering how I know, it's because I learned to spill as a wee lad in France.

Steve, I saw it, not your fault.

You will take SNCF Banlieue trains, not RER trains. The Journey Planner on the page for which Steve gave a link won't help you unless you know from which station(s) in Paris you can depart. There are two: Gare Saint-Lazare and Gare du Nord. Enter either one as your starting point and you'll be given routes and departure times. You'll need to make at least one connection, regardless of which station is your departure point.

FYI, if you're wondering how I learned that you can depart from either of those two stations, I have to thank the German Rail site, www.bahn.de. When I entered Paris as the departure city, the site gave me timetables for routes departing from both stations.

As a point of reference, the correct spelling is Auvers-sur-Oise.
