Rental car return at Frankfort airport (FRA)

Maybe my ONE criticism of the rental car process @ FRA is the LOUSY signage for car rental returns ... If you are coming via the highway from the south or the west, at least, there IS a sign, but it is quite near to where you need to exit. They could DEFINITELY use another sign or two well ahead of time. Maybe its just my perception, but EVERY time i approach FRA, I nearly panic, thinking I have overshot the exit, or missed the sign, or whatever, and then I see it. The last time, it was dark, @ rush hour, and in the pouring rain. I had my normal 30 seconds of "oh, crap," and then I saw the sign. So just don't panic ... its there. I must also add that the car rental return signage once inside the airport grounds is not much better. It, too, can be confusing, and another sign or two there would also be appreciated. If you get confused, though, there is always someone walking around who can point you in the right direction back toward the garage area, where the rental returns are checked in. Rental car return at terminal 1 in parking garage number 4 (Follow the signs to terminal 1 which also are marked "Lufthansa", then to P2/P3, then see the rental car return signs, you'll pass the short term parking on your right and P2 &P3 on the left) Counters are at row P30/P33 for returns unless after hours in which case there is a drop box, make sure you park in the correct row. Rental Car return at terminal 2 is in P8 (Follow the signs to terminal 2, then P8, then rental car return - this is a much smaller terminal and easier to find things in, just leave plenty of time to park - Drop box if outside of business hours) Hope that helps!
