I was able to book a ticket on Renfe online. However we had to suddenly change plans. Our ticket is on the Avant Cordoba to Seville train 08694. We will now be in Malaga that day and not in Cordoba however it looks to me as though the Malaga train goes to Cordoba and then to Seville as they have the same number and seem to be in the station 5 minutes before they leave again.
If this is so I am thinking of using the portion of the ticket we purchased Cordoba to Seville and just purchase the additional separate ticket Malaga Cordoba the same day we have tickets for.
Although I just realized that the tickets are scanned and we would have time to get off the train get scanned and reenter. Any thoughts? I think I read somewhere that if it is a regular ticket you can get 50% back (unlike a special web fare.)
Might just eat the ticket and rebook.

If this is possible Will we be able to walk through the cars to change seats since we will probably have different seats? Will this work. Am I reading things correctly?
