My husband and I are going the be near Reims for two weeks in early September: 4-17. We would like to take a cooking class in that area while we are there--Reims, Epernay, etc. We are also interested in a musroom expedition with a a guide. I have googled, but haven't found anything. Any suggestions from you travelers?

Do you speak French, sufficiently to understand what's said to you by a native speaker? Or would you need a class in English?

If all else fails, as soon as you arrive in Reims, visit the Tourist Office and make inquiries there. I feel sure they could help you.

My French is not really good, but I can usually follow as most of the words I know are food words. The combination of understanding some things and watching the techniques works for me.
