in 2005 we visited a small champagne house in a neighborhood. I thought it was a RS recommendation. Now I can't find it listed. It was not near the rail station and those places, but instead was out in the area near Veuve Cliquot.
We parked in a courtyard off a main street in a neighborhood. There was a large room with family portaits on the walls. We sat in a large circle on antique chairs as the staff poured one glass after another explaining the history of each champagne.
