We will be in bad Gastein for a week in June. I'm interested in recommendation on restaurants or sights not to miss nearby.

I don't have any recommendations for restaurants but want to say what a great time my husband and I had in Bad Gastein 2 years ago. It is a great spot to relax and enjoy the scenery. A most memorable time was spent hiking the mountain in the day and returning for a relaxing late afternoon in the Felsentherme. We enjoyed the snow-capped background as we moved through the thermal waters and enjoyed a beer on the terrace. Enjoy!

We stayed in Bad Gastein many years ago at the Gruner Baum, which is up the mountain outside of the town. The setting was beautiful.
