Hello! My wife and I will be staying in Paris for a week at the end of September. I am thinking that an apartment would be the way to go for a little more space, a fridge to keep market food cool (save $) etc. I've done a lot of research to see what is out there and am having a hard time finding out which sites/places are trustworthy. I know it's all a risk so I'm hoping that if you've stayed it one that you can personally recommend you can provide a link and let me know. Our requirements: Small (only two of us so 20-40sqm is fine) Centrally located (areas 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7) Close to a metro stop Safe area (yes I know most places in these areas are safe...)
Budget: 600-750 euro for a week Thank you!!

Matt - Our family used vacationinparis.com for our last trip to Paris and were well taken care of.
Thanks Joel! I'll look into it and see what they have available.
Matt, we also used vacationinparis and were really happy with them! Have a great trip!
We have used HomeAway with good success. I like the way that you can mark favorites into folders, search by requirement (number of people, cost, etc.), and view them by pictures and/or map location. The HomeAway site also lets you search by arrondiesment. We will be staying at property number 913644 for our family of 4. Good luck! If you are interested, I will let you know how we fare; our trip is in May.
I use vrbo.com and homeaway.com. The apartments i have rented in Paris don't quite meet your criteria. Good luck finding a place. I agree that apartments are the way to go!
I have used www.rentalfrance.com many times and stayed in the 37 Rue St Paul apartment. Situated in the 4th Arrondisment (Marais) and a very safe area. On 4th floor, 1 minute from metro, 2 minutes from Seine and supermarket across the road. Agency is excellent to deal with, especially Pascal, and communication is top notch.
Would highly recommend.
