rec re best use of 2 days in the berner oberland region ?

I enjoyed taking the gondola up to the Schilthorn and hiking down from Murren to the bottom. It is a beautiful hike. We took a lunch with us. You can have lunch, breakfast or a snack at the top revolving restaurant and enjoy the views. Trummelbach falls is also interesting and worth seeing. You could do both of those things in one day. I had a swiss flexi pass that included the steamers and some of the trains and gave a discount on some of the gondolas. We took the train to Brienz lake and went to Ballengburg outdoor museum. (Small recreation of old time Switzerland). After the museum we took the steamer on the lake. You can visit other towns also from the steamer. After the boat ride we went into Interlaken and walked around and did a little shopping. (great candy stores). The second day was all covered by my swiss pass. If you like hiking there are a lot to pick from. I would ask at your hotel for suggestions. I also enjoyed the hike to the lake from first chair in Grindelwald.
