I will be in avignon on 25-27 for 3 night,can anyone suggest the reasonable clean and not far from train station in avignon, thanks

Hi Penny, We stayed at Hotel Boquier (http://www.hotel-boquier.com/) in May and loved it. It's not fancy but it's very comfortable, within walking distance of the train station and the TGV stop. The staff was really friendly and suggested a fun restaurant It's in Rick's book.

Which train station? There are two train stations in Avignon: Avignon-TGV and Avignon-Centre. The closest hotel to the Avignon TGV station is the Kyriad Avignon Courtine Gare TGV. It's adjacent to the station, about a 15-minute walk from the terminal. It's clean and well-run, and reasonably priced. (http://www.hotel-kyriad-avignon.com)

My hotel recommendation (Hotel Boquier)is near the Avignon Central train station. Just a block away is a bus stop for the TGV station. It's about a 15 minute bus ride to the TGV station from the stop.

I stay at Hotel du Parc which is close to the Avignon Central Station, charming, and inexpensive.
