Ready to book our flight....time of year?

We are ready to book our flight.. Have been reading Steve's book on Brussels, Bruge etc.... Is 3rd week of November going to a a decent time to visit? I know it will be cold and possibly rainy but I don't want to be naive and ruin a wonderful trip due to weather and not be able to enjoy.... Also, arriving on a Sunday will there be plenty to see or should I book to arrive on Monday? Thank you all for such good advice thus far.

Go for it! Mid-November, will be fine....not too hot....not too cold:) The best part will be few crowds and cheaper hotel rates.
Be aware, that most all attractions are open on Sundays, it's Mondays, that most all museums will be closed.

Just remember that the area is as far north as the middle of Canada which means short days and weak sunlight. The potential for both good and bad weather is high. Rainy, chilly, overcast, high humidity, is not unusual for that time so be prepared with layers of warm clothing and rain jackets. Long underwear is an excellent idea along with sweaters. And for someone from GA might consider it colder than myself from Colorado. Just be prepared for a wide range of weather. You do not want to be cold and miserable. Arrive on Sunday so your jet lag day is Monday when you may not be as interested in seeing things.
