Reaching CDG Airport by train - where to stay the night before?

After a week in France, our flight home departs from CDG Airport on 9 September at 11:00 a.m.

My husband and I are spending our last few days in the Loire Valley. Unfortunately, there are no trains from Tours to CDG that would get us to the airport by 9:00 a.m. (in time to check in for our 11 a.m. flight), so we may need to spend our last night (8 September) elsewhere.

The hotels at CDG are rather expensive, and I've not had much luck trying to book a room thus far at a decent hotel in our budget. Can you recommend other cities or towns south of CDG where we could spend our last night AND that would have a direct train to the airport? (We have a rail pass, but will not have a car.)

Or perhaps there's another option that I've not considered? Maybe a way to go from Tours to CDG, but via Paris, on the morning of 9 September?

Any suggestions welcomed!

We recently spent the night before our return flight at the Ibis Hotel, which is located a few steps away from the inter-terminal shuttle tracks. It's basic, but clean; and it has what you need. By choosing the pre-pay, no cancellation option on their website, we paid around 60 euros. Google Ibis Roissy. Note: there is another Ibis in Roissy, which is a little farther away from the airport; but it has a shuttle bus and is also just fine for a night before a flight. Personally, I'm too much of a worrywart to tolerate being any distance from an airport that I have to be at that early in the morning.

What I would do is take my luggage to a Paris hotel, enjoy a day and evening in Paris, sleep in Paris and then head for the airport early in the morning. I would not try to make a morning flight from far away the same day. So much stuff can happen to foil your plans...weather, strikes, traffic, alarm clocks that don't work...etc. Plan to leave your hotel in Paris between 7 and 7:30am to get to the airport on time. There will be opportunities to buy breakfast at the airport.

I looked into the Ibis, but it was 102 euros, and got mostly poor reviews. You must have gotten lucky! The good news is that I found I can get a nice 4-star hotel through Hotwire or Expedia for a similar price, so I think that's what we'll do.

Staying in Paris isn't really an option, since we will have already spent 4 full days there before heading south. Since we only have two days in the Loire Valley, we would prefer to stay in there through dinner on 8 Sept. and then take the TGV to the airport in the early evening.

Thank you both for taking the time to offer suggestions! I do appreciate it.
