Re: Swiss Pass

Hi everyone, We arrive in Geneva early morning, plan to take the train to Montreux, see the castle, then the Golden pass to Interlaken and spend 4 days there. On the way back, we plan to take the train to Geneva and then onward to Aix en Provence. Then 4 more days in Provence. We may or may not rent a car in Provence. We leave in 2 weeks, do I need to make TGV reservations for the Geneva-Aix route in advance or can i do it a day before? Should we buy a Swiss pass or France Swiss pass?
Thanks in advance.

Regarding Swiss portion, You may want to consider,Swiss one-half fare card, approx. $110, this will cover special trains in Murren-Interlaken area. To make your Golden Pass special, you can reserve front row seats on domed train. This is covered by Rick in his Swiss guidebook.
