I am taking the train from Barcelona to Valencia via train and we arrive at what the train's website calls Joaquin Sorollo railway station. Another option was railway station Nord. I am trying to coordinate renting a car and making sure I make reservations from the correct location. Everything else I look at such as google maps etc makes it look as though Joaquin Sorollo station and station Nord is actually the same location. Can anyone advise me on this?

Estació del Nord is in the historical center, a stone's throw from Plaza del Ayuntamiento. Joaquin Sorollo Station was built to accommodate high speed AVE trains. It's approximately 20 minute walk from historical center or you can catch a bus just outside the station. RENFE also operates a free shuttle bus to Valencia Estacion del Nord station – just show the driver your rail ticket or pass.
