Rail Passes: double backing through a country

Greetings from New England! I would like to purchase a 3 country select saver rail pass to cover Benelux, Germany, Czech Republic. For my own sanity I would like to verify the following: if I do the "top" of Germany on my way to the Czech Republic I can re enter Germany to do the "bottom" after I finish touring the Czech Repbulic. Do two trips to Germany count as "one" Germany on a 3 country select saver pass? My rational mind says yes but it might be clouded with european vacationitis. Best and Thanks, Andy

Yes, it will be fine. Last year I used a 4 Country 5 Day Youth pass (Italy/Switzerland/Austria/Germany) to go from Arezzo to Zurich to Garmisich (through Austria) and back down to Zurich to Rome. It doesn't mean that you only have one time going through that certain country, it just means that you are able to go through that country. Multiple entries is fine. (At least in my experience, with the pass I had. Check details on your pass if you are unsure.)

Save yourself some money, and don't bother buying a pass to cover Belgium and the Netherlands. Ticket prices in these countries are cheap by European standards, and the national rail companies sell their own domestic passes that, if you're traveling in a group, are vastly cheaper than adding a Benelux option to a rail pass. I generally find 3rd party rail passes an unnecessary rip-off, but I'll let others explain why.
