We will be spending four days and nights in Switzerland in early May following a 2-week cruise on the Rhine that ends in Basel. My wife and I will be traveling with her elderly mother who is fit for her age but would have trouble with luggage. The car would be easier from that standpoint but everyone Including Rick) advises using their great train system. Since we will have large bags from our earlier trip, is it reasonable to store them at our 4th night hotel in Luzern or the train station there and travel with carry-ons only? Is it easy to store the carry-ons if we decide to take an excursion along the way? Anyone have this same dilemma and find a good solution?
