I have been doing research for transportation from Dunblane to the Turnberry Resort. I believe the closest I can come with public transportation is train to Maybole station and then taxi from there. It is 2 1/2 hours with a change to bus service. Depart Dunblane at 13:31 - Arrive Glasgow Queen Street at 14:11 (Train service, number: 1331) Depart Glasgow Queen Street at 14:11 - Arrive Glasgow Central at 15:22 (Bus service, number: 1411)
Depart Glasgow Central at 15:22 - Arrive Maybole at 16:25 (Train service, number: 1522) I am trying to find a quick route and avoid changing to bus. Then I though to check just bus service to Turberry since I am forced to change to a bus in Glasgow but it's like over 5 hours. Not a good plan Anyone experience with traveling by train to this location that can make any suggestions would be much appreciated.
