Quick Q about Paris Porte Maillot

Next week I'm going to be getting the shuttle bus from Beauvais - Porte Maillot. My question is as I get off the bus, with the bus station behind me and Palais de Congress to my left, which Metro station do I head for, the one to my left or my right? I have to get to Concorde and change in Concorde for Abbesses, or Pigalle and walk up to Rue de Abbesses, considering all those steps at Abbesses, I think it might be easier
Thank you.

Neuilly-Porte Maillot is a RER station on line C.
There is only one Metro station, Porte Maillot on line 1. It probably has more than one entrance from the street. Any entrance will do.

Take Metro line 1 to Concorde. Transfer to Metro line 12 and take it directly to Abbesses.

Ellen -

Either entrance will get you to the Metro line 1 - however I would recommend the one on the right. This will keep you from going through the Palais de Congress shopping and tunnel (plus it has also been closed for renovation this past month).

The route Tim recommended is probably best - get on the line 1 towards the front of the train - the line 12 is just down 2 flights of stairs.

Thanks, It's just I was confused as I have a detailed metro map, and there's Porte Maillot and Neully Porte Maillot marked on it.
