Quick Cheap Sandwich - Paris

We'll be getting into CDG around 6:30pm local time, we're not sure what time we'll get into Paris that night after taking the RER (after we sort out how to use it - oy!) but I know we're going to need food. We're staying in the 15th arrondissement, can any of you fellow travelers recommend a cheap and quick place to grab a sandwich or salad to go there?

I would just walk outside my hotel and look for a cafe,, or ask at the desk if you don't see any nearby. They seem to be everywhere. If there is a Monoprix or Franoprix around they usually have section with take away foods,, not hot,, but salads and sandwiches, would be my last resort though. Where exactly are you staying, if we have a street name it would help alot. You should be in Paris by 8 pm .

What's the name of the street/address of hotel or apartment in the 15th and the nearest metro stop? It will be impossible to advise you without some minimal info of that nature.

MD: Go to avenue Emile-Zola which intersects Fondary at the Metro Emile-Zola. Walk west towards the river on Emile-Zola and when you come to the Metro Charles Michels you will be in a very lively area with lots of restaurants & shops. There is a Monoprix not far from there and if you ask anyone they will direct you. There is also a Mcdonalds close at hand should you be absolutely desperate but I pray you won't be. P.S. Take a street map with you!

Some parts of the 15th are very residential and snooze early. Your hotel should be able to direct you to a brasserie or restaurant. If you are anywhere near Montparnasse, which borders the 15th, that's a very lively neighborhood with every type of eating place you could think of, open to the wee hours.

When you get to your hotel depends a lot on whether or not you have checked luggage. It can take an hour or more to claim luggage at CDG. You also don't say what day you're arriving. You'll find fewer options open on Sunday evenings.
