Questions about brussels

What would you suggest to see if I would only spend a few housrs in brussels on my way to Brugge. Also, is there a luggage storage area in the central train station?

I second Grand Place. One of my favorite places.

Yes to the Grand Place. And personally, the lunch I made in Brussels of frites, a waffle, and chocolate is one of the finest meals I've ever eaten ;)

The Musical Instrument Museum has an enjoyable audio guide, gorgeous clavichords with amazing inlay work, and a beautiful collection of lutes and early guitars.

Get the "Liege" waffle and keep the toppings simple to let the pastry be the star.

Second the recommendation for the Musical Instrument museum. It would be of only mild interest if not for the audioguide, which allows you to hear a demonstration of nearly every instrument in the collection. And, it sits just behind Centraal Station. If you have a little more time and someone in your party is a World War buff, check out the Royal Museum of Military History, which has a huge collection of material from both world wars. If you decide to go, you´ll need to take the metro.
