Public Laundry in Belgium

Just check with your hotel. When we were in Bruges, we asked the hotel for directions to a laundry, the hotel offered to do it as long as we bought the stuff down early in the AM before they needed the machines for the sheets and towels. Wasn't the first time this has happened. We always start with the hotel.

They exist, but aren't too common. You tend to find them most prominently in cities with a large student population, like Leuven, Antwerp or Ghent. Otherwise, you may find them in the more "economically challenged" areas. Best to check with your hotel first to see if they offer the service.

I'll try the hotel staff first....I just didn't want to pay the prices for sending it out via the hotel dry cleaning service, but I'm sure the staff can guide me to a local place.
