Hi - I have found a place to stay in Cheval for 2 nights but need 4 more nights somewhere else in the area. We like B&B's or small inns. Does anyone have any recommendations? I was thinking about St. Remy perhaps.

St Remy is nice and they have a great market. You may also consider Isle-sur-la-Sorgue or Bonnieux.We stayed in Lourmarin for 5 nights and loved it as a base from which to make day trips. We stayed in St. Remy at Hotel Sous Les Figuiers. It is a small hotel but feels like a B&B. A block or two from the town center which is lovely and full of restaurants and shops. Wednesday is Market Day--don't miss this!

Why not try the villages farther North like Vaison-la-Romaine. It is surrounded by lovely hilltop villages. Great market day and plenty of Roman ruins to visit. There are plenty of Gites in the area that you might consider staying at.
