I'd like feedback on private guides in Lisbon. We would like one who would meet our ship and then drive us to Sintra.

i don't know about a private guide but my friend used to work for a tour company in Lisbon called Tours For You. I remember when he told me of it I checked out their website and there are many good reviews. Might be a service to consider

We stopped in Lisbon very early last March on a cruise and friends we were with bartered with a taxi driver who took four of them to Sintra, Cabo di Roca, Cascais, and several sights in Lisbon for a VERY reasonable price, can't remember just how much. They said he was just like a tour guide. Two of us knew we were coming bach so we chose to wander Lisbon. The cabs apparently meet all the cruise ships.
