We are taking a day trip from Paris and would like a private driver for northern Burgundy. Recommendations?

Do you want a driver to pick you up in Paris and then drive you around northern Burgundy, or do you want to hire a driver somewhere in Burgundy when you get off a train? Finding a car service in Paris to take you round trip may be easier. Where are you interested in going: Sens, Auxerre, Chablis, Joigny?

Yes those towns and spend one night. Do u know a anything about Chablis tours?

If you want to spend a night in Burgundy it makes more sense to me to take a train from Paris to ? and hire a driver from there. If you hire one from Paris it seems it would be very pricey for a 2 day private tour.

For a private day tour in Burgundy try www.wineandvoyages.com. They will pick you up at Dijon station.

I would take the train to Auxerre and have the car pick you up there. Try contacting Brendan Moore -- google him and you'll find him easily. He took me on my first wine tasting trip in Chablis almost 10 years ago and inspired in me a long lasting love of the area and its wines. He's a superb guide and a really nice guy,
