private car and driver from Paris airport

Last May we used the shared shuttle service at www.parisshuttle.com and were very pleased with their service. Their web page also has private service but of course at higher prices.

James the shared shuttle services have some rather mixed reviews. Be careful. I personally absolutely refuse to prepay for the service,, have read way too many times about people prepaying and then service not being there. That said, I have used a private car service twice that I thought was good. Its got a dumb name though, since it sounds like a shared shuttle service but it definately a private car service. www.shuttle-inter.com/ . The advantage is NO prepay, and a set price so if you are caught in traffic fee is set. I have also taken the RER into Paris many times, its great if you are not an overpacker. But, the simplest option of all, is a taxi. They are set and metered and will range from 45-60 euros depending on where you are going, how traffic is , and how many people( its 3 euros for a 4th person) and (one euro per luggage) . There is an easy to find taxi stand, and you only take taxis from the taxi stand,, NEVER take one where a driver approaches you , these are not reliable and sometimes not metered and fees can change enroute!
Taxi Parisien is completely fine. Take the complete address of your apartment WRITTEN on a piece of paper to show your taxi driver , it simplfys things alot since pronuounciations can be so different. A
