I am look for a prison to tour in either Nuremberg or Munich. Germany. I am having trouble locating prisons that are open for tours and the hours of operation. If anybody has any info on this it would be greatly appreciated.

Meghen, Could you provide more information on what type of "prison" you're looking for? Are you referring to Concentration Camps? If that's the case, Dachau is a short distance outside of Munich, and easily toured either on your own or with a guided tour from Munich.

Not really concentration camps, although Dachau is on the list of things to see. I am a huge prison buff and am looking more for prisons that have closed down and can show old methods of executions and some insight into what prisons were like years ago. I noticed there was a place called Lochgefangnis Prison but I have been able to find very little info on it.
