I am going to Prague and Vienna next week from Saturday morning until Sunday night. Does anyone know of any good side trip from either of these places. Any suggestions about either cities would be great...maybe just your favorite site. Thanks!

Hi Blair. Rick Steves has made a number of excellent recommendations for these two cities. If you specifically want to make a side trip, you can go to the Sedlac Ossuary in Kutna Hora, which is one hour by train from Prague. It is a church where the entire interior is covered in human bones.
Within Vienna there is more than enough to do to fully cover the complete time that you will have. The Imperial Apartments and the Imperial Treasury are always nice, and the tour of Schoenbrunn Palace is great as well.

There is so much to see in both cities, why take time to travel out. Others can always suggest places to visit, but having spent time in both towns I would not waste time or money on side trips.
Do a google search for "Prague sights" and do the same for Vienna. You will learn about many attractions which will appeal to you.
