We are arriving via bus at Prague Florenc at 10pm. Staying at Malastrana. Whats the best way to get to the hotel at this hour? We are a family of 4 (parents and two teens ) and we have luggage. Would appreciate advice on this including how much the fare should be if by taxi.

Naomi next month we will be arriving later in the evening at Prague main train station and the hotel we are staying at has made the arrangements for us to be picked up. Maybe you could check with your hotel.

Naomi, I agree with Pam that your hotel may be able to make arrangements for transportation, especially given the late hour of arrival. However, a Taxi from the station shouldn't be too expensive. AFAIK, AAA Taxi is a reliable firm. I've heard that the "no neck thugs" (as Rick called them) that were operating Taxi service from the station have been given the boot, so you shouldn't have any trouble. Happy travels!

We have used the company Prague Airport Transfers (ironically, not always to go to an airport) a few times, booked in advanced, and we were very happy.

Dont know where the bus station is in relation to train station but it cost around 12.00 dollars to go from train sta. To malastrana area by no neck thug taxi. They really are no-neck thungs as rick says. Ask your hotelier-in prague they are extremely helpful
