Will be spending 2 weeks in Portugal with sis-in-law and niece. They own 2 wineries in Wisconsin and are interested in visiting wineries in Portugal. We will be going to Porto (obviously) but also have time planned in Lisbon, Algarve, and a meandering trip north through the Alentejo region and finally some time around Coimbra and Navarre. Any suggestions of specific wineries that people have appreciated visiting?

Did a 5 week driving tour of Spain and Portugal last year and previous. Don't have any wineries for you ... Try sampling Ginjinha!! We spent time in Coimbra staying just outside, We visited Navarre and spent 5 nights in Lisbon/Belem as well as a week on the Algarve... We didn't visit any wineries but sampled lots of Port and ginjinha :)
We spent a couple of nights in Obidos.. So glad we did might be worth checking it out, i'm suprised it's no on RS's radar. Also worth a visit would be Tomar.. Have fun..
