We are doing this trip a little backwards with RS's books.
As for Morocco, we plan to ferry from Tarifa to Tangiers, and think about visiting Tetuan and then taking ferry back from CEUTA to Algeciras. Is this a good idea?? We'll do most of September in and around Iberian Peninsula, finishing in Barcelona and Madrid.
Please advise about ferry into one place and ferry out of of the other.

Rosa...my friends in Spain advise that crossing the border from Morocco into Ceuta is OK....there may be lineups though, since there are many people crossing in the summer time. Things shouldn't be too bad in September. From Tarifa, take the fast ferry found at www.frs.es . They offer a free bus ride over from Algeciras to Tarifa if you want to stay there (I would not recommend that.) FRS also offers the fasted service from Ceuta to Algeciras.
