A little weird question....any recommendations on a portable stool a person could sit on when out? My wife has trouble walking and frequently rests...sometimes finding a bench is hard. I thought a foldable stool that was light weight and sturdy would help.
Terry, Your question doesn't seem "wierd" at all. I've often thought about packing one of those along. You might have a look at This Website for an example of the types of products that are available. Happy travels!
On the website Ken mentions (Magellans) I purchased the portable seat. It folds up like a cane and then you can pull the seat down to sit when you want to. I really like it a lot. It's pretty light weight and has been very helpful in many instances (waiting in lines, etc.).
Thanks to both....I did order a folding tri pod stool......So I have air tickets, a stool for wifey to sit on, still working on an apartment. Procrastination has a price!
My parents bought two portable seats that fold into a cane and fold out into a three-legged stool. They are too old to use them now so we've inherited them. They work. Here's a tip: sit on them facing the cane handle. It looks like you're sitting backwards, but you are more stable.
