please suggest places in paris for souvenirs

This one is easy,, Rue Du Rivoli, from across the Louvre all the way up to Place Concorde. Tshirts, lighters, pens, scarves, bottle openers, you name ,, there are many litte stores selling it.. Also in the Marais there are some cute little shops selling unusual and fun decorative souvenirs and gadgets.. i also buy food souvernirs( like tinned foie grais, duck confit , pates, etc)chocolates etc, from the food floors in department stores and even some of the Fran/Mono Prix stores.. fun to browse and usually cheaper then souvenir shops.

Have a look in the BHV department store near the Hotel de Ville. It's fun to just walk around and see all the stuff. In the basement, there is a section with signs in French. Some are clever.

I've also heard that the Monoprix stores have some good souvenier items to choose from. These stores are like upscale Super Targets that sell everything from foie gras to tote bags. They seem to be scattered throughout Paris.
