They will email you a pdf file that you can print as your ticket. I set my printer for 'A' sized paper and put in 11"x17" paper cut down to 'A' size. And, I printed it on 8½"x11", paper. It looked a little different in proportions. I took the file with me to Europe, along with both versions of the printed tickets in a cardboard tube, so as not to fold the barcode. I had my first host print another copy on his printer with 'A' paper. It was a little different in size and proportions to what I had printed.
I showed the conductor one of my printings, I think the one on 8½"x11" paper. He held the barcode reader approximately a foot away and approximately perpendicular to the paper, but not exactly, and it read. I don't think it makes a big difference to the reader.

With this option, you can print as many copies as you want to, but you have to have your CC with you as ID. Make sure the names match.
