Day 0 I will be arriving Seville Sept 20 around 7:00 pm (sleep Seville) Day 1 Next Day I plan to spend entire day Seville (sleep Seville) Day 2 Spend half day Sevilla and travel Granada in the early evening (sleep Granada) Day 3 Entire Day Granada visiting Alhambra ( I have tickets already) (sleep Granada) Day 4 Most day Granada then late train to arrive Madrid night time. So Basically I'm staying Seville 2 nights 1.5 days, Granada 2 nights 1.5 days. Then I'm having this thouhgt about squeezing Cordoba as an in between stop for a few hours day and see Mezquita at least. So my choices are: * Day 2 Leave Seville morning.. stop in Cordoba for a few hours and continue to Granada. or * Day 4 Leave Granada morning.. stop in Cordoba for a few hours and continue to Madrid. or * Just skip Cordoba on this trip and leave intinerary as it is. Can anyone give me some advice? And I know logistically speaking I should have considered stop in Cordoba before arriving into Sevilla..but I already bought my Ticket into Seville. I'm interested in opinions of people who have been in these three places and which half day from Sevilla or Granada makes more sense to skip in order to
see Cordoba.. or not.
I would do the stop in Cordoba on the way between Granada and Madrid, even if it tales a little time away from Granada. It actually does not add much to the travel time to Madrid, compared to the direct ( slower) train from Granada to Madrid. The Mezquita is amazing and very different from anything you will see at the Alhambra.
I agree with Lola, Cordova has to be in there somewhere. I can't comment on public transportation. Had I a choice between Cordova and Granada, the former would get the nod every time.
